BLUE COTTAGE VACATIONS

Perched on the edge of the Bay of Fundy, the Blue Cottage is one of five remarkable concrete cottages sculpted in the 1930s by visionary artist Charles Macdonald. Owned by the Charles Macdonald Society, this singular retreat is lovingly maintained and offered as a fundraiser in support of our charitable work.

The Blue Cottage is available exclusively to Society members, with reservations offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Staying here is more than a getaway. It is a chance to step inside a living artwork and directly support the preservation of Macdonald’s legacy.

Upstairs, the cottage features two cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed. Running water is gravity-fed from a nearby woodland spring, and we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. Set on a private two-acre oceanfront property at Huntington Point, just two miles west of Halls Harbour, the cottage offers sweeping Fundy views, salty air, and deep quiet. Cell service can be limited and there is no Wi-Fi. The reward is rare and wonderful: true unplugged time.

Think of it as camping’s sophisticated cousin. Creative, comfortable, and unforgettable.

RESERVATIONS OPEN EACH FEBRUARY 15th

The Blue Cottage is available for week long stays Mother's Day to Thanksgiving.

After February 15th email charlesmacdonaldsociety@gmail.com with your requested week.

The Charles Macdonald House of Centreville Society celebrates and preserves Charlie and Mabel’s legacy by sharing their community values, creativity, and story through the stewardship of the Blue Cottage, the Concrete House, and their artwork.
