The Blue Cottage is one of five concrete cottages sculpted in the 1930’s by Charles Macdonald on Nova Scotia’s Bay of Fundy. It is owned by the Charles Macdonald Society and is operated as a fund-raiser for the charitable organization. The Blue Cottage is available only to members for unique holidays in a provincially recognized heritage property.

Later in the spring we will be launching a raffle to stay at the Blue Cottage over Labour Day Weekend. Join our mailing list and/or follow us on Instagram and Facebook for details.

Friday, September 2 at 4 pm to Monday, September 5, noon: Labour of Love Weekend (not available for booking)

The Blue Cottage has two bedrooms upstairs each with a double bed. Running water is gravity fed from a spring in the woods. We recommend bottled water for drinking. The cottage is situated on a two acre oceanfront lot at Huntington Point, two miles west of Halls Harbour, NS.
